The Fiji Islands Trade and Investment Bureau is trying to entice overseas investors to invest in prawn farming in Fiji which would soon become a major money earner for the economy.
FTIB acting chairman and permanent secretary for fisheries Commander Viliame Naupoto said Fiji has an advantage over other countries when it comes to prawn farming and we must capitalize on this.
Naupoto said the idea is to advertise the industry to investors abroad.
