The Fiji Trade and Investment Bureau is in negotiations with a South African Based company to set up business in Fiji which could see some 5000 people being employed over the next few years.

Speaking to Fijivillage FTIB Chairman Francis Narayan revealed that they have had a successful meeting with the South African company who are Backroom office operators such as call centers, help desks and also operate in airline industries.

Narayan said they hope to reach a deal soon with the company as this will create several opportunities for the economy and for the people.
