The Fijian Teachers Association is urging all teachers who have been posted to the outer islands and in the interior schools to make necessary travelling arrangement and to be in their respective schools before the 21st of this month.
General Secretary Maika Namudu said that one of the problems that they found last year is that most their members did not arrive on time at schools outside the urban centers.
Namudu adds that those who will be travelling to the islands must be at their school before Term 1 starts as the students will suffer if the teachers do not arrive on time.
Term one of school starts next Tuesday.
