The Fijian Teachers Association will be writing to the Public Service Commission later today to consider their log of claims on 7% COLA.
General Secretary, Maika Namudu said they are frustrated that PSC has failed to respond to their claims sent last year and their letters have not been replied.
Meanwhile, PSC Chairman, Rishi Ram said he is unaware that some Trade Unions have filed their log of claims for 2007 to the commission for consideration. Ram said senior officials of PSC may have received the claims and he will surely go through them.
PSC is yet to make any decision to pay out any COLA payments to civil servants this year.
