The Fijian Teachers Association is hopeful that the start of the Second term will run smoothly when the new teachers replace the outgoing retired teachers.
President, Tevita Koroi said he hopes that the teachers and students will be able to get used to the transition especially those that will be transferred to the island schools. Koroi is also concerned about the 450 retired teachers which is an issue to FTA.
The FTA's 75th anniversary meeting is held at Studio 6 in Suva and ends on Friday.
