Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama said Fijian Teachers Association President, Tevita Koroi should stop blaming the interim government and understand the current economic situation.

Koroi has called on the Interim Minister of Finance Mahendra Chaudhry not to blame others on the economic situation as civil servants have nothing to do with what the country is currently facing.

He said the 5 percent paycut should be restored and they will not accept any justifications.

However Bainimarama said the current economic situation cannot be ignored by the unions.
