The new Fiji Sports Council Board not only has short-term plans but also long-term, to improve on providing services to take sports facilities to rural areas.
Speaking to Village Sports, Acting Board Chairman, Rajendra Prasad said that they need to do this so Fiji can have more of the likes of Akesa Drotini.
Chaudhary adds that the strategic plan also focuses very strongly on the Sports Council to undertake further initiative to increase its asset base and to also increase the return that it will get by expanding the facilities to the rural areas.
