The Fiji Sports Council has responded to the decision made by the Fiji FA in shifting the annual Inter-district competition from Suva to Ba.

Speaking to Village sports, Fiji Sports Council Board Chairman, Tom Ricketts said that if this be the case, then Fiji FA will have to look for other avenues to hold FFA sanctioned events.

Ricketts adds that the IDC, initially scheduled for 27th to 30th September but had to be shifted on account of the Oceania World Cup qualifiers scheduled for 13th October to 24th November, and FFA's request for alternative dates of 6th to 9th December was agreed to and bookings were made on FSC register.

Ricketts goes on to say that the FSC will seek legal advice on the loss incurred by Fiji FA.
