The Fiji Sugar Corporation Executive Chairman said they are not expecting to see any further assistance from government with the National Budget announcement next week.
Abdul Khan said this is because two years ago, government provided FSC with significant funding to implement the sugar reforms which have benefitted the industry.
Khan said the Prime Minister has also made numerous statements that the Sugar Cane industry is here to stay.
He added government will continue to support the sugar industry especially in areas in need of improvement.
