The Fiji Rugby Union is yet to decide, whether Fiji Sevens team will defend their World Games Sevens Gold medal in Taiwan this year.

FRU is expected to make a decision sometime next week, as funding could be a problem in sending the team across.

Former Fiji Sevens coach Waisale Serevi led the side that won the Gold Medal in 2005 in Germany.

Meanwhile, South Africa which is highly likely to win the 2008/2009 IRB World Sevens Series, has announced a full strength side to compete in the 2009 World games.

The Boks should start as strong favourites to take the Gold medal. Paul Treu has named the same players that have been playing in his team for the World Games that will be held in July in Taiwan.
