The Fiji Rugby Union is yet to decide whether they will field a team in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s this weekend.

Last week the Fiji Barbarians team played in the Nawaka 7s and lost to Army Green in the quarterfinal.

The sides main concern at the moment is the number of key players who are carrying injuries after the last IRB 7s series and also last week’s Nawaka 7s.

Players like Pio Tuwai, Emosi Vucago and Osea Kolinisau did not play last week as they were undergoing recovery therapy in Suva.

But the injury list extended when Jerry Burotu and Apisai Nayabo were injured in the Nawaka 7s.

Burotu will miss the Marist 7s this weekend while Nayabo availability will be confirm later this week.

The Fiji 7s team to the Australia and Hong Kong 7s will be name after the Marist 7s on Saturday.
