The Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) will not field a Fiji team at the Marist 7s this weekend and William Ryder may not be considered for the Australia and Hong Kong 7s tournaments later this month.
The Fiji 7s team players and officials had a meeting last night to decide what step to take, as some of the players are still injured and recovering.
Team Coach Iliesa Tanivula said players decided not to field a Fiji Team adding they will also take a break this weekend.
