The Fiji Rugby Union is looking forward to receiving at least $400,000 from the Interim Government when the National Budget is announced on Friday.
FRU CEO Ratu Timoci Tavanavanua said they sincerely hope that the Government will consider the amount of promotion Fiji Rugby is doing and will allocate them with the necessary funds accordingly.
Tavanavanaua adds that unlike 2007, the only major tournament next year will be the Under-20 World Cup championships, and apart from that, most of the funds will go towards the development of the game in Fiji.
