The Fiji Rugby Union will make further comments regarding Mike Ryan's resignation as High Performance Unit General Manager after their board meeting later this week.
FRU Chairman Filimoni Waqabaca has told Legend FM News that he believes Ryan resigned after the decision to overturn Ryan's selection on the Pacific Mini Games coach and manager for our 7s team.
Waqabaca stated they have already established a process where the appointment of coaches and managers should be discussed and endorsed by the board before an announcement is made.
But he said the reason for Ryan's resignation is still not clear to them as they are still waiting for a full report.
Mike Ryan said that he will not make any comments on the issue.
