The Fiji Rugby Union Board will today hold a special general meeting to discuss the resignation of Keni Dakuidreketi as Chief Executive.

Board Chairman, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said that the meeting is solely being called to discuss what steps need to be taken now.

When asked by Fijivillage news as to how soon will a new Ceo be named, Col Tikoitoga said that this is up to the Board and will be decided at the meeting today.

Dakuidreketi had handed in his resignation on Wednesday citing personal reasons.

Dakuidreketi had said that it had been a privilege and honor to have served an organization which affects the very heart of the nation and where each and every individual regardless of creed or color has an opinion.

The Meeting will be held at the Rugby House today.
