The Fiji Rugby Union has confirmed that they will be fielding two teams for the Uprising International Sevens.

The tournament which will be held at Lautoka’s Churchill Park will feature 16 top local and overseas teams giving coaches Alivereti Dere and Timoci Wainiqolo a great opportunity to test combinations and view the ability of the 21 member Sevens training squad currently in camp.

Assistant coach Timoci Wainiqolo said that it will give them a good opportunity to work on their game pattern and combinations.

The two teams will be known as Digicel Fiji Barbarians Sevens team and the FMF Fiji Warriors Sevens team.

The tournament will be on 18th and 19th of January.
