FRU to discuss Dakuidreketi’s fate
It is understood that Dakuidreketi is ready to step down from the post but FRU Board Chairman Bill Gavoka believes he can stay on.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Gavoka said that he is aware of the comments made by FRU President Ro Filipe Tuisawau and has stressed that those are only allegations.
Gavoka was reacting to Fiji Rugby Union President Ro Filipe Tuisawau's comments that he does not support the decision made by Gavoka to maintain the services of FRU Acting CEO Keni Dakuidreketi.
Ro Filipe Tuisawau said Dakuidreketi should step down like what former President Sakiusa Tuisolia did when he was also charged by FICAC earlier.
Dakuidreketi, a former NLTB Board member was charged by FICAC, for allegedly conspiring with others to defraud the NLTB of $3.7 million, and a government grant of $1 million by causing payments of funds to support an information technology company, Pacific Connex, for installing the IT software, MySap.
