The Fiji Rugby Union will closely look at the contractual obligations with Digicel Fiji and others before announcing their new sponsor or sponsors.
As the expressions of interest from companies who are willing to sponsor FRU closes today, FRU Chairman Filimoni Waqabaca said they will make an announcement once everything has been properly followed.
Digicel CEO Maurice McCarthy said last week that they had offered an attractive sponsorship proposal to FRU for next year.
Waqabaca earlier said that the interest shown by potential sponsors was overwhelming as some offered to sponsor a particular FRU product while others wanted to sponsor the whole package from Milo Kaji to the Flying Fijians.
