A special tribunal will be established by the Fiji Rugby Union to make a final decision on appeals made by Tailevu and Nadroga Rugby Unions after their protests were disallowed by the FRU.

Nadroga Rugby president Tiko Matawalu expressed his frustration saying the deduction of five points by FRU was unfair.

Yesterday suggestions were made by some rugby unions to the new FRU Board during a Talanoa session for an external tribunal to make a final decision on these matters.

FRU Chairman Filimoni Waqabaca said the tribunal will sit on Tuesday to decide whether Namosi or Tailevu will feature in the semifinals of the Digicel Cup.

FRU had ruled that the Namosi player Silivenusi Gavidi has been suspended from playing rugby for 12 months.
