The FRU should explain!

These are the words of former Digicel Fiji 7's coach Waisale Serevi after being questioned by Village sports, on why he resigned from the coaching job.

Serevi adds he wants to make it his last appearance in Hong Kong this year, and decisions laid out by the Fiji Rugby Union will not only affect the players but the team's performance as a whole.

Meanwhile, FRU CEO Ratu Timoci Tavanavanua had earlier stated that the maestro can only come in as coach and not as a player.

However, Serevi said the comments made by the FRU Games Committee Chairman, Rafaele Kasibulu from Wellington - lifted the hopes of some local players and Serevi stressed that the Fiji Rugby Union should just come out clean and avoid double standards.
