The Fiji Rugby Union will start their selection process for the 2011 Rugby World Cup from the IRB Pacific Rugby Cup which gets underway today.
This is a chance for the Fiji Warriors and Fiji Barbarians players to impress national selectors if they are to play for the Flying Fijians.
FRU chief executive Keni Dakuidreketi said plans are in place as far as selection is concerned.
He said there are a few places vacant in the Flying Fijians team that need to be filled.
The Fiji Warriors will today take on the Fiji Barbarians in their opening match of the IRB Pacific Rugby Cup competition.
The match will kickoff at 5pm at Lawaqa Park.
