The inclusion of Army personnel in the 30-member training squad to prepare for the Hong Kong and Adelaide leg of the IRB 7s series in March will see the Fiji Rugby Union seeking the IRB assistance to lift the travel ban currently in place for all soldiers who wish to travel to New Zealand and Australia.

Speaking to Village sports, Coach Joe Savou said that they are aware of the ban placed on the duo and they are hoping that the IRB will look at their request.
Meanwhile the Fiji 7s team continues with its preparations for the Wellington 7s with an early morning gym session today before they have a practice run this afternoon at the Bidesi ground.
Fiji's opening pool game in the Wellington 7s is against Wales at 1.28pm next Friday. The Hong Kong and Adelaide leg of the IRB series will be held in March and April.
