The Fiji Rugby Union has become the first sporting body in the World to pledge their support for the WWF in the Earth Hour campaign for 2011.
The FRU and WWF launched their partnership deal today whereby the FRU will be working with the global conservation organization to draw the Fiji Rugby Lottery and also support the Earth Hour.
FRU Lottery team member Kenneth Zinck during a press conference this afternoon urged all Fiji Rugby fans to get behind Earth hour and the boys campaign to the Rugby World Cup by switching their non-essential lights off on the 26th of March next year.
Meanwhile, FRU’s lottery ticket draw will take place next Thursday.
