The Fiji Rugby Union is now planning on a new strategy to boost the sales of their $20 dollar lottery ticket.

Lottery ticket committee manager, Kenneth Zinck said the next plan is to visit all the hotels in the country where they expect to sell the ticket to tourists and also to the locals.

Zinck said they are working on the dead line for the draw on the 30th of December, after the earlier draws were extended because of poor ticket sales.

Zinck said since the lottery ticket launch on the 28th of August 2009, FRU's aim was to sell 100,000 tickets to reach their $2 million target for the Flying Fijians to prepare for next year's World Cup.

He added that he is not in a position to reveal the number of tickets that have been sold as they have a lot of outlets throughout the country, but he can give assurance that come the 30th of December they will draw the winners.
