All the 14 Fiji Rugby Union officials who undertook a urine test for cannabis last week have tested negative.

In a statement this afternoon, Fiji Rugby Union CEO Ratu Timoci Tavanavanua says that he hopes that this will put to end the baseless speculation in the media of the use of drugs within the national management team.

Meanwhile, in the case of Iliesa Tanivula, Tavanavanua says that the decision to replace him with Iosefo Bele was more to do with Bele's management skills and experience.

Tavanavana specified that Bele's promotion to assistant coach was mainly because he brings tremendous experience to the management team and has a proven record in Fiji and an IRB Level 3 Coaching Certificate.

The FMF Flying Fijians are currently camping in Sigatoka and will disperse for the weekend.
