The Fiji Rugby Union has again made a special request to the Commonwealth to include the Vodafone Fiji 7s team in the games at the end of this year.
This was revealed to Fijivillage by Fiji Rugby Union Chairman Filimoni Waqabaca.
Waqabaca said they have received feedback that it’s too late to accommodate the Fiji 7s team but their hopes are high for a spot in the tournament.
Waqabaca added that if given the green light they are ready to field a team.
