The Fiji Rugby Union made a loss of around $600,000 last year compared to $100,000 in 2011.
This has been revealed today by FRU's Finance Director Napolioni Batimala.
Batimala added that this is mainly due to FRU not having a sponsor.
Batimala will present the financial report in their AGM tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Tailevu Rugby Union President Maika Rainima said it's about time that other unions wake up and appoint people to the FRU board who can bring about change.

Rainima added that the western unions have dominated the FRU board over the years and this needs to change and that is why Tailevu has nominated Dr Esther Williams to the board.
The FRU AGM will be held at Queen Elizabeth Barracks at 10am tomorrow.
Stay with us for that.
