The Fiji Rugby Union maintains its decision to award Naitasiri the default win against Nadroga in last week's Digicel Cup match.
Senior Operations Officer Aporosa Tuqovu said while there has been a lot of talk about FRU's decision on the matter, one must understand that Nadroga was not at the ground on time to start the match.
Last week FRU changed the venue for the much anticipated clash twice in less than 24 hours.
Tuqovu said that Nadroga had agreed to play at Navuso District School ground and he does not understand why some of the senior team officials decided not to let the team play.
Meanwhile, Nadroga Rugby Union President Tiko Matawalu has confirmed to Fijivillage this morning that they have appealed the decision made by FRU.
Tuqovu confirmed that their decision still stands until the games committee has a meeting.
