FRU has full confidence in Baravilala
FRU Board chairman Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga said that they have full confidence in Baravilala to deliver in his job description.
Tikoitoga added that while finance has always been a issue at Rugby House, one of Baravilala’s early tasks in office is to mend the relationship between FRU, the provincial unions and the IRB.
For Baravilala, entering a new field in his career and coming from a background in marketing, tourism and branding, he knows that he is in for a tough assignment.
The former Air Terminal Services chairman said that the disappointing performance of the Flying Fijians in the Rugby World Cup made him apply for the CEO post.
Baravilala will take up his post on the 01st of December and will have a month to work with acting CEO Pio Bosco Tikoisuva.
His contract is for 3 years.
