The Fiji Sports Commission has given the Fiji Rugby Union a deadline to finalize the selection of an overseas coach.
Sports Commission Chairman Peter Mazey has confirmed to Fijivillage that FRU has been given till the 31st of March as they have other various sporting bodies who are in need of funding.
Mazey added they will withdraw the funds if FRU does not meet the time frame given to them.
However, Mazey said they are working closely with FRU in covering other costs that are included in the contract.
Mazey reveals that the average funding for various sporting bodies to bring in an overseas coach is around $250,000.
