The Fiji Rugby Union is exploring all avenues to raise $2 million to get the Flying Fijians team ready for the 2011 World Cup and will not push government for assistance when the 2010 National Budget is announced next Friday.

FRU Acting CEO Keni Dakuidreketi said they understand the economic difficulties currently being faced and will not add undue pressure on the State.

Apart from the money given from Government, the FRU is always assisted by the International Rugby Board.

Meanwhile, Fiji Rugby Union launched their lottery earlier this year, to help prepare the team to the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
