The Fiji Rugby Union is expecting the 2010 season to be more challenging than this year.

Chairman Bill Gavoka said they have already mapped out a plan for next season and their main priority is to set the platform for the Flying Fijians to the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

Gavoka said they will also have more input in the local rugby competition such as the Digicel Cup and the Farebrother Sullivan Cup Challenge, while they will try to retain the title in the IRB Pacific Rugby Cup and do much better in the IRB Pacific Nations Cup.

He said that 2009 was a good year for FRU.
