The Fiji Rugby Union is expected to receive a report from the International Rugby Board in relation to an incident involving some Telecom Fiji Warriors players during the Pacific rugby cup competition in Australia last month.

FRU Acting CEO Dr. Berlin Kafoa said the Fiji Warriors players and management have been interviewed by the IRB.

He added that they expect to receive the report from the IRB soon.

Dr. Kafoa said the incident involved alcohol and damage of property and they cannot make any decision now because they have to wait for the IRB report.

IRB Oceania General Manager William Glenwright said he can confirm they are currently investigating allegations of misconduct by the Fiji Warriors team at the PRC.

He added that no further comments will be made until the investigation has been completed.
