The Fiji Rugby Union has defended the payment of $9,600 to former All Blacks Coach Mike Brewer.
The money was paid to Brewer by the FRU, for the period from 5th October to 18th October for putting together the Fiji team tour to Europe next week.
An invoice obtained by Fijivillage revealed that the payment was paid by electronic transfer from Fiji to his bank in Scotland.
FRU Chairman Bill Gavoka defended the payment saying it’s worth it to have the services of such a man.
Gavoka said these funds are not given by the FRU.
