FRU chairman clarifies Dakuidreketi issue
Gavoka said that FRU is an independent Board and that the charges laid by FICAC against Dakuidreketi have to do with the Native Land Trust Board and not with the day-to-day running of the Union or with Dakuidreketi's contract with FRU.
Gavoka adds that what people should realise is that Fiji Rugby is at a very critical point, leading upto to the 2009/2010 IRB 7s series as well as the Northern Hemisphere tour of the Flying Fijians team.
In reply to the ultimatum issued by President Ro Filipe Tuisawau, Gavoka said that the Board will not move in their decision to keep Keni Dakuidreketi.
Meanwhile, President Ro Filipe said that the Board should hold a meeting to reassess their decision to keep Dakuidreketi in the position and if this is not done, then he would seek government intervention.
