FRU behind Fiji 7s team despite loss
In a talkback show last night on our sister station Viti FM, development manager, Sale Sorovaki said that while we may look for excuses in the loss to New Zealand it was on the night that our players failed to stamp their mark.
Sorovaki added that we have to believe in what we are doing to be able to come back to end our losing streak in the series which now stretches back to February last year in Wellington.
Sorovaki hopes the side can bounce back from the loss in Hong Kong when the Australia 7's kicks-off on Saturday afternoon.
Also this morning, Sailosi Rabo, Nemani Nagusa and Kelemedi Bola have left for Australia replacing Dale Tonawai, Nikola Matawalu and Waqabaca Kotobalavu.
Fiji is in Pool C in Adelaide with host Australia, Tonga and USA.
Fiji's opening pool game is against USA at 2.51pm on Saturday.
