The Fiji Rugby Union has retained the management of the Digicel Fiji 7s team for the last leg of the current IRB 7s World Series.

Coach Joe Savou and manager Opetaia Ravai will take the team next month to the London and Edinburgh 7s tournaments to complete the series.

FRU chairman Keni Dakuidreketi after the board meeting last night said Savou amd Ravai had been retained after recommendations by the games committee.

Dakuidreketi said they would assess the team and management fully on the completion of the IRB 7s Series.

The FRU board also agreed that both positions will be advertised after the team's return from Scotland in June.

According to Dakuidreketi, they want to make sure a strong management team is put in place for the 2008/2009 IRB Series and for the 7s Rugby World Cup next March.
