“Only the best will be named.”

Those were the words of Fiji Rugby Union High Performance Unit manager, Talemo Waqa as the 25 member Digicel Fiji 7s squad marches into camp this afternoon.

Waqa said that the squad is made up of the best 7s players in the country who have been consistent in their performance in past local tournaments.

He added the inclusion of overseas based reps Niumaia Cakacaka, Setefano Cakau and Osea Kolinisau have made selection more difficult for the selectors.

Also making a return to the training squad are Sailosi Rabo and David Batiratu.

The 25 member squad will be trimmed to 16 next week.

Fiji is in Pool D in the Hong Kong 7s with Kenya, Russia and Malaysia.

The Hong Kong 7s will be held from the 25th to the 27th of this month.
