The Fiji Rugby Union High Performance Unit has finalized the selection criteria that will be used as the basis for players vying for places in the 2008 IRB Pacific Rugby Cup and Pacific Six Nations Cup teams.

The criteria include all players to be selected in either the Fiji Warriors or Fiji Barbarians and they will need to reach 80% - 90% of National Fitness in March and April.

For the Pacific Nations Cup - players to be selected in the Flying Fijians team will need to reach the fitness level of
90% to 100% by May.

Another criteria is for players to play a minimum of 60 minutes rugby for their respective clubs/teams each week during 2008 and skills applied should be based by position.

Added to that one of the major criteria would be discipline - professional attitude both on and off the field.

Fiji will kick off the 2008 IRB Pacific Cup in hosting rivals Samoa on June 7th at Churchill Park.
