The Fiji Rugby Union Games Committee does not agree with the Ovalau rugby officials that matches should be banned from being held at the Naluwai Ground in Naitasiri.

FRU Games Committee Chairman Rafaele Kasibulu said that after reviewing the referees and match commissioner's report from last week’s Naitasiri/Ovalau match, where five Ovalau players were allegedly assaulted on the field, they see no reason why no more games should be held there.

Kasibulu also adds that Ovalau were to partly blame for the incident last week after their supporters passed insulting remarks to the Naitasiri players.

He said the matter is being resolved and should any other games be held at Naluwai, than a consensus has to be reached between the two parties.
