The standoff between the Fiji Rugby Union and the Commerce Commission over the Rugby World Cup lottery ticket saga could end up in a battle in the courts.

According to Fiji Rugby Union CEO Keni Dakuidreketi, the Commission has not been willing to listen to their side of the story and conducted a raid on their premises late last week.

Dakuidreketi said they are also unable to reconcile the financial details of the lottery ticket sales to present to the relevant authorities as the Commission now has all the documents.

He said the Commission has also filed papers in court.
