Flying Fijians 15s rugby coach, Ilivasi Tabua is calling on the International Rugby Board to give Pacific Island teams the same treatment enjoyed by Tier One nations.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Tabua said during the Pacific Nations Cup he only had two weeks to prepare the team and top players like Sireli Naqelevuki, Akapusi Qera, Kameli Ratuvou and Filimoni Delasau were only released by their respective clubs with only just two days to go for the opening game against Samoa.

He also believed the IRB should now look at a time frame where all the overseas based players will be available because the IRB takes its ranking after this competition.
