All efforts are now being made to ensure that Bua flyer and France based, Rupeni Caucau dons the Digicel Fiji 7s jersey in next month's World Cup 7s if his fitness test result is satisfactory.
Chairman of Selectors and National 15s coach Ilivasi Tabua said they have already spoken to Caucau and the next step is now being taken.
Tabua said he is ready to speak to Caucau's club, Agen and hopefully Caucau will arrive in Fiji before the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s next Friday.
The World Cup 7s tournament will be held from the 6th to 8th of next month. Fijis opening pool match will be against Georgia on Friday 6th March at 4:16am. Then on Saturday 7th March at 8:50pm they take on USA, with their final pool match against France on Sunday at 2:20am.
