The Fiji Rugby Union has today announced a 33 member squad from which they will select the final 26 to represent Fiji to the IRB Junior Rugby World Championship in June.
Of the 33 names that was announced this afternoon, eight overseas based players have been included; Alex Mar, Ofa Unaloto, Samuela Vunisa, Vuga Tagicakibau, Alex Rokobaro, Eroni Tara, Jerry Tagicakibau and Henry Speight.
New Zealand based Malakai Kaci was dropped from the squad ahead of Henry Speight who did not attend the trials, but Coach Rayne Simpson said that they felt Speight had the edge over Kaci.
The final 26- member squad will be announced on May 21st and the Under-20 play Tonga in the curtain raiser match to the Fiji Warriors and Fiji Barbarians Pacific Nations match at Churchill park in Lautoka.
