FRU AGM to be held on April 30th
Fijivillage Sports has received confirmation that a letter was sent out by FRU CEO, Keni Dakuidreketi for the AGM to be held on the 23rd of April which is the Easter Saturday weekend.
However this morning, Interim Chairman, Rafaele Kasibulu has confirmed that they have decided to move the meeting to the 30th of April as most union delegates have commitments on the 23rd.
Kasibulu added that they are working on moving all of the Digicel Cup games that will be held on the 30th to be played on the 16th of April except for the Nadroga and Tailevu game at Lawaqa park.
He said that they want all provincial unions, B division and island zone reps to be present in this AGM where the election for the FRU board members will take place.
Last Saturday the FRU, Special General Meeting did not take place in Suva as there was no quorum.
