The Fiji Rugby Union 15's calendar will officially kick-off in March.
After the FRU decided to scrap the Colonial Cup this season, they have moved the Digicel Cup competition to March where the 12 provincial teams will battle it out.
Nadi are the defending champions and they will play teams like Nadroga, Northland, Lautoka and Namosi in the double header for both the Digicel Cup and the Farebrother Sullivan trophies.
The competition will be used by the FRU to select the Fiji Warriors and Barbarian Teams for the Pacific Cup which will start in May.
Meanwhile, the first FRU event of this year will be held next week at Lawaqa Park in the BP National 7's to select the final 12 member Digicel Fiji 7's Team to Wellington and San Diego.
