The Confederation of Public Sector Unions has filed a 10% Cost of Living Adjustment for 2008.
General Secretary, Rajeshwar Singh said they are awaiting a response on the 4% COLA for last year however they will fight to get this year's COLA.
Meanwhile, Public Service Commission Chairman, Rishi Ram said that they are talking with the unions on the restoration of the 4% pay as the interim cabinet decided on Tuesday that there will be no backdating of the pay.
Cabinet has agreed to restore 2 percent in July and the remaining 2 percent in December.
