The Fiji Public Service Association is awaiting a response from Airports Fiji Limited to avoid the looming strike by its members later this month.
Industrial Advisor Nirbhay Singh said it’s a concern that management has not come to negotiate on the matter before the strike notice was issued late last month.
Meanwhile, interim Public Enterprises Minister and Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum had informal talks with both parties in the past week to solve the issue.
FPSA has given a strike notice of 28 days which expires on the 29th of this month.
