Two FORU countries have joined the local clubs and some overseas sides for the Digicel Suva Tier 2 Sevens competition which will be held in the morning on Thursday before the Suva International Sevens starts in the evening.

Tuvalu and New Caledonia are in the country to play with 48 other teams which includes some Fijian clubs from Australia, New Zealand and the US.

The Suva Rugby Union has worked together with Oceania IRB Development manager Frank Boivert in bringing in these two teams.

Meanwhile, in the international category, the Papua New Guinea team arrived last night while Canada this morning.

Both sides will be in Suva tomorrow afternoon before the Suva International Sevens will start on Thursday at 4.40pm where PNG will take on the Wardens.

Today at 1pm, the 10-a-side tournament will start at Albert Park where 10 teams will be taking part.
