The Fiji National University has been offered what is a called historical offer by renowned Hindi film Producer, Director and Screenwriter, Prakash Jha who was on a visit to Fiji last week.
Prakash Jha is most known in the Indian cinema for his political and socio political films and he was on a visit to Fiji for the Film Festival organized by FNU, Fiji Audio Visual Commission,
Damodar Brother's and the Indian High Commission.
At the end of the successful film festival Jha offered FNU to nominate two people from the film and TV Production Programme who will be associated with his future feature production.
Meanwhile FNU Vice Chancellor Dr Ganesh Chand said being involved with such director's will be of immense benefit to their student who are undergoing the Film and TV Production courses.
He said this is indeed a history for the country.
Jha also met with the FNU student and staff during his visit.
